Bridge was built by the operator who needed it.
Donato runs a pet aftercare facility. He went looking for software that could keep up as it grew, found nothing he could live with at a price he could pay, and built this instead.

He did not set out to build software.
He set out to run an aquamation facility well. For a while paper and a whiteboard kept up. Then the volume grew, one referring hospital became several, and the binder stopped being a record and started being a hope.
So he went shopping. The systems built for this category were priced like enterprise funeral software and looked like they were written before the smartphone. The modern, friendly platforms were built for grooming and boarding — nothing in them knew what a communal versus individual decision is, or why a chain of custody has to name a person.
Every one of them asked him to change how his facility worked to fit the software. None of them could tell him where a specific pet was at four o'clock on a Tuesday.
He stopped looking, and started building.
“Aftercare is no longer an afterthought when it comes to technology tools.”
Three dead ends, in order.
Paper, a whiteboard and QuickBooks
Fine at a low volume. Past a certain point it is three people re-typing the same case into three places, and a freezer nobody can search.
The legacy deathcare systems
Built for a different decade and priced per seat, so growing the team cost more than growing the business.
Building it himself, part-time
It ran the facility, and it taught him exactly what the job needs — but it was never enterprise grade, and it was never going to be, built in the hours left over. That is what made him want to build a proper one for the whole industry.
Less admin, more care.
To empower pet care providers by democratizing modern tools to streamline operations, reduce administrative burdens, and restore the focus to providing exceptional care.
To be the unified operating system for the pet care industry, where advanced technology ensures no provider is limited by administrative complexity, price, or fragmented systems.
Built by an operator, backed by people who have done this before.
Bridge is part of Oowlish Labs, the venture arm of Oowlish — whose founders, Dave Martin and Fernando Pascua, built PetCoach and sold it to Petco.
